Preschool and Pre-K Teachers (Full Time)

Job Summary:

As a Preschool and Pre-K Teacher at Anchorage Gymnastics Association, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young learners. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Planning:

    • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that addresses the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical needs of preschool and pre-k children.
    • Plan and organize daily activities, including arts and crafts, circle time, music, and outdoor play.
  2. Classroom Management:

    • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
    • Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote a positive and respectful atmosphere.
  3. Individualized Learning:
